Stone Home Sweet Home: Abruzzo's Rocky Situation
This weathered stone cottage sits solo in the Campo Imperatore vicinity, complete with two circular windows that give it perpetual surprised expression. Built from local limestone with a terracotta roof, it's flanked by ancient dry stone walls that probably predate most European borders. The D7500 at 210mm compressed the rolling Abruzzo landscape nicely, showing how these traditional structures blend seamlessly into Italy's mountain pastoral scenes. Classic Italian countryside architecture that's seen more history than my browser cache.
