Waddle We Have Here? Italian Beach Family Time
Stumbled upon this adorable duck family during one of our final days exploring Lake Bolsena with the trusty VW T4. Mama duck supervising her two fluffy ducklings on the sandy shoreline - classic Italian lakeside wildlife encounter! The little ones still have that fuzzy baby plumage while mom sports her elegant speckled pattern and bright orange webbed feet. Caught them mid-waddle at 210mm with the D7500, because getting too close to protective waterfowl parents isn't on my vacation bucket list. The overcast sky gave perfect even lighting for these feathered locals doing their thing.
