This lighthouse in Vieste perches dramatically on rugged limestone cliffs, doing what it's done for decades - keeping sailors from becoming unplanned reef decorations. The weathered stone structure bears 'VIESTE' proudly on its facade, because apparently even lighthouses need name tags. Shot with my trusty D7500 at a brisk 1/8000s to freeze those Mediterranean waves mid-crash. The moody clouds overhead add just the right amount of dramatic flair to this Adriatic sentinel.
